School screenings
Pedagogically valuable films regularly make it into our programme, which can be integrated excellently into the school curriculum or can offer valuable education even without this framework. In the following list you will find current and upcoming films that are particularly suitable for student screenings. Of course, it is possible for all film titles to have a student screening at special conditions.
School screenings are to be understood as an educational event, i.e. the performances are usually played without an intermission and without consumption.

HALLO BETTY
Release date: 20 November 2025
By Pierre Monnard, with Sarah Spale, Martin Vischer, Viviana Zappa, Magdalena Neuhaus, Anna-Katharina Müller

By Thomas Imbach, with Deleila Piasko, Milan Peschel, Jan Bülow, Katharina Schüttler, Claudia Hübschmann.
Lili's summer holidays take an unexpected turn when her mother pressures her to ask Dorsday, a family friend, for money to keep her father out of prison. That night she loses not only her dignity but every certainty she once had.
THE EXPOSURE is a drama inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s novella Fräulein Else, portraying a young woman pushed to a moral breaking point. Deleila Piasko (“Transatlantic,” “Die Zweiflers,” “Der Schatten”) delivers a gripping performance alongside Milan Peschel, Jan Bülow, and Katharina Schüttler.
Shot entirely in a studio using 3D projections on 16mm film, THE EXPOSURE is one of the first independent films to fully embrace virtual production. It opens up new creative and ecological possibilities for telling historical stories through the lens of sustainable green shooting.

By Christian Frei.
After years exploring remote bat caves, three scientists are catapulted into the harsh spotlight of politics and serious accusations. Once ignored, these early warners must now defend themselves. A visually striking film journey about the role of science in increasingly dark times.
