"Lunch-Kino"

Lunch break with a twist!

Why not spend your lunch break at the cinema? Every 2nd Wednesday between November and April, we host the "Lunch-Kino" (cinema lunch) at the Kino Seehof. Films begin at 12:15pm (the cinema opens at 11:30am). Warm soup, appetizers, and various other snacks and treats will be available at the cinema bar.

Look for the voucher published in the Zuger Woche a week before the screening to get two tickets (standard category) at a reduced price of only CHF 10.- each (instead of CHF 18.-). Simply cut out the voucher, bring it to the box office and enjoy the "Lunch-Kino"!

The films are generally sneak previews. Titles will be announced ten days in advance.

By Craig Brewer, with Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson, Jim Belushi.

When Mike Sardina sees singer Claire Stengl on stage for the first time, he is instantly captivated. Mike, a Vietnam veteran and former alcoholic, works as a mechanic — but his heart beats for the music he plays on small stages in the evenings. In Claire, he recognizes the same passion. A deep bond quickly forms between them. They found the Neil Diamond tribute band “Lightning & Thunder” — the beginning of an unforgettable love story that goes far beyond their shared passion for music.

By Thomas Imbach, with Deleila Piasko, Milan Peschel, Jan Bülow, Katharina Schüttler Claudia Hübschmann.

Lili's summer holidays take an unexpected turn when her mother pressures her to ask Dorsday, a family friend, for money to keep her father out of prison. That night she loses not only her dignity but every certainty she once had.

THE EXPOSURE is a drama inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s novella Fräulein Else, portraying a young woman pushed to a moral breaking point. Deleila Piasko (“Transatlantic,” “Die Zweiflers,” “Der Schatten”) delivers a gripping performance alongside Milan Peschel, Jan Bülow, and Katharina Schüttler.

Shot entirely in a studio using 3D projections on 16mm film, THE EXPOSURE is one of the first independent films to fully embrace virtual production. It opens up new creative and ecological possibilities for telling historical stories through the lens of sustainable green shooting.
