Our "Seniorenkino" (senior citizen cinema) is aimed at elderly movie fans that appreciate the community experience and enjoy seeing the best current films in neat surroundings.
Join us every last Tuesday afternoon of the month at the Kino Seehof (except in July and December). The cinema opens at 2pm; films begin at 2:30pm. Screenings include a short intermission. Our cinema bar serves coffee and cake - the perfect occasion for relaxed and inspiring conversation!
Look for the voucher published in the Zuger Woche a week before the screening to get two tickets (standard category) at a reduced price of only CHF 10.- each (instead of CHF 18.-). Simply cut out the voucher, bring it to the box office and enjoy the show!
TREASURE

A father-daughter road trip set in 1990s Poland, Treasure follows Ruth, an American music journalist, and her father, Edek, a charmingly stubborn Holocaust survivor, on a journey to his homeland. While Ruth is eager to make sense of her family’s past, Edek embarks on the trip with his own agenda. This emotional, funny culture clash of two New Yorkers exploring post-socialist Poland is a powerful example of how reconnecting with family and the past can be an unexpected treasure.
