Senior Citizen Cinema
Senior Citizen Cinema is aimed at elderly movie fans that appreciate the community experience and enjoy seeing the best current films in neat surroundings.
Join us every last Tuesday afternoon of the month at the Kino Seehof (except in July and December). The cinema opens at 2pm; films begin at 2:30pm. Screenings include a short intermission. During the break, our cinema bar serves coffee and cake - the perfect occasion for relaxed and inspiring conversation!
Look for the voucher published in the Zuger Woche a week before the screening to get two tickets (standard category) at a reduced price of only CHF 10.- each (instead of CHF 17.-). Simply cut out the voucher, bring it to the box office and enjoy the show!
By Stefan Haupt, with Max Simonischek, Sarah Sophia Meier, Anatole Taubmann.
His life’s work made him world famous: within a few years, Huldrych Zwingli, the main proponent of the Protestant Reformation in Switzerland, turned the entire city of Zurich and a firmly established canon of values upside down. With razor-sharp intellect, he dissected the religious and social system, denounced abuses and was not afraid of taking issue with the most powerful people of his time. In the end, he died, the opponent of war in a war he himself had endorsed.
