For piano tuner Niki White, his sensitive hearing is both a curse and a blessing. Together with his mentor Harry Horowitz, he travels around New York, tending to instruments that require his special gift. A task that forces the otherwise rather quiet Niki to interact with people. Among them is Ruthie, to whom he is immediately drawn. But when shady characters realize that Niki’s hearing is also useful for opening safes, events take a dangerous turn.
