After her little brother is kidnapped by a flock of crows, 12-year-old Prue embarks on an adventurous rescue mission into the “Impenetrable Wilderness”—an enchanted forest hidden on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Together with her clumsy classmate Curtis, she enters a world full of talking animals, magic, and ancient powers. When the two find themselves caught up in a conflict that threatens the balance of the forest, Prue discovers an inner strength she never knew she had. If she wants to save her brother and change the fate of Wildwood, she’ll have to risk everything.
