Also, if you bring along at least five other guests, you can book our birthday package starting at only CHF 100.- (CHF 110.- for 3D shows). The package includes:
- Cinema tickets for the birthday child* and his/her guests**
- A bag of popcorn (or similar snack) for each person
- A beverage for each person
* Birthday must be within a week before or after the screening (please bring ID).
** Each additional guest: CHF 20.— (CHF 22.— for 3D).
If you would like to celebrate without the birthday package and your birthday is within a week before or after the intended screening (please bring ID), we still invite you to see a movie for free!
The offer with/without birthday package is valid for all reduced price screenings (designated 
in the programme, see below). Please note that the package is not available online and phone reservations are mandatory.

Frequently Asked Questions
My child's birthday was some time ago and we want to celebrate it now. Can I still book the birthday package?
Yes, the birthday package can be booked in this case for 5 or more people, but the free admission and free consumption for the birthday child is omitted - we are happy to invite the birthday child if the cinema visit takes place one week before or after their birthday.
The children are accompanied to the cinema by adults who do not necessarily wish to consume. Do they still have to book the birthday package?
Provided that the minimum number for the birthday package is met (birthday child + 5 paying visitors), each additional person may decide for themselves whether they would also like to book the package (at CHF 20.-) or would prefer a regular cinema admission.
We are planning a birthday party in a few weeks and would like to send out the invitations. However, no screening has been released on that date yet. How do we proceed?
The cinema programme is usually planned and posted at short notice (always on Mondays for the cinema week from Thursday to Wednesday). We are aware that parties have to be planned early and that guests have to be informed. Nevertheless, it is unfortunately not possible for us to announce film screenings or accept reservations far in advance. However, the following information on the times and venues of our children's film screenings may help you with your planning:
- Kino Seehof: WED (usually starts at 15:00) and SAT/SUN (14:30) as well as daily during school holidays (14:30). There is usually a choice of two children's films at each of these times.
- Kino Lux: SAT/SUN (14:30) as well as (partly) during school holidays (14:30).

Are we allowed to bring our own snacks and drinks?
Bringing snacks and drinks is not allowed - as in all other cinema performances.
Are we allowed to have a birthday party at your cinema?
For several reasons, our cinema foyers are not suitable for lavish birthday parties during normal cinema operations. Therefore, if further festivities (e.g. eating cake together, playing games etc.) are to take place after the movie, we would kindly ask you to plan this at another, more suitable location. Thank you very much for your understanding.
As always, we can offer a little more leeway when you hire a cinema. For smaller groups (less than approx. 40 children), however, this is associated with a significant surcharge per person. Please contact us if you are interested.
